The fully online post-master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program at Northern Kentucky University prepares nurses to utilize evidence-based knowledge and innovative practice expertise to lead initiatives and influence change to improve health outcomes for people in the community, region, and country. Graduates will be equipped to utilize best practices in the provision of advanced nursing care health care at individual, population and organizational system levels.
The practicum experiences are individually designed to expand knowledge and foster leadership competencies for the application, integration, and synthesis of the DNP Essentials (AACN, 2006).
